Mutauro Weshona is an online Shona language school based in Halfway Gardens, Midrand, South Africa. This policy explains what we collect through this website and how we handle it.
Information we collect
When you complete the enquiry form we collect the name, email address, phone number, chosen programme and message that you supply. When you subscribe to our newsletter we collect your email address. We also collect basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited.
How we use your information
We use your details to answer your enquiry, arrange lessons, send the newsletter you asked for and keep records of our teaching arrangements. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
Newsletter and consent
You may unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in the email or by writing to us. We remove your address from the mailing list as soon as we receive the request.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies to remember that you have seen the cookie notice and to measure how pages are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them does not stop the site from working.
Children's information
Where a child is the learner, we deal with the parent or guardian. Details about a child are supplied by the adult who books the lessons and are used only to plan and deliver teaching.
Data retention
We keep enquiry and lesson records for as long as we have an active relationship with you, and afterwards only as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes.
Your rights
You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@mutauro-weshona.co.za and we will respond.
